Founded in 2011, Georgetown Galleries on Book Hill is an association composed of six art galleries located on upper Wisconsin Avenue in the antiques, library and museum district of Georgetown. The purpose of the association is to inform visitors about a vibrant arts section of Washington which offers a diverse selection of high quality fine art—all within two or three blocks!

Members of this group exhibit works from the late 19th Century to the present, ranging from Picasso and Barbizon artists to Wolf Kahn, William Kentridge, Alex Katz and Dale Chihuly. Member galleries also specialize in a range of styles and media, from late 19th Century French oils to contemporary glass masters, cutting edge and emerging artists, and contemporary Russian art.

We collaborate on joint events, including lectures, tours, opening receptions, and more.
